Supporting the Critical Needs of Independent TNRs & Feeders.

We believe that TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) programs for cats are the most humane and sustainable way to impact the cat population. Many colonies of cats are cared for and loved by volunteers who trap independently and TNR while taking care of the daily feeding and care of the cats. Their heart-warming efforts often come at a great personal cost in time, effort, and financial resources. Sassy Cats TNR exists to help alleviate these burdens through financial aid, which subsidizes the reasonable costs of TNR, and in cases involving Low-income elderly or disabled people, providing cat food. This is the Sassy Cat way!

Providing Medical Help

We believe that all cats should have an opportunity to live a pain-free life. That is why Sassy Cats has set aside a portion of the funds we raise to provide medical treatment to Feral/Stray/Abandoned cats. We work with the top veterinarians in our area to treat these cats, whether they must be trapped and sedated or they can be put in a carrier. Outdoor cats can survive with one eye, with a full mouth tooth extraction for stomatitis - if they are being actively fed by a colony caregiver. Friendly colony cats that can be brought into a home may be eligible for tail or leg amputation.
